Aluminum Chromium (AlCr) targets provide oxidation-resistant nitride coatings and composite coatings for machining tools such as drills, milling cutters, punches, and hobs. These coatings feature excellent high-heat and oxidation resistance, further extending tool life, and allowing for higher spindle speeds and feed rates to improve machining efficiency.

Aluminum-chromium target material

In coating practice, finer AlCr targets effectively reduce droplet generation and increase the deposition rate. Therefore, we offer both standard and fine-grain AlCr targets. To achieve better coating hardness, oxidation resistance, and high-temperature resistance, we produce CrAl-based targets with trace elements, such as ternary and quaternary metals like CrAlSi, CrAlW, CrAlB, and CrAlSiW. Compositions can be customized or standard, helping you develop multi-functional composite coatings.
