Molybdenum target material
Molybdenum (Mo) and its alloys are widely used in manufacturing, aerospace, steel smelting, petrochemicals, medical devices, and defense. In medicine, Mo targets are well-known for mammography, offering high sensitivity and low energy X-rays ideal for soft tissue imaging. Mo targets are also used in flat panel displays (LCDs) for their high conductivity, low impedance, and environmental friendliness, significantly improving brightness, contrast, and lifespan. In thin-film solar cells, Mo targets form the electrode layer for CIGS cells. MoNb targets are used for conductive and barrier layers in touch screens and mobile devices.
